Hello all,
Thank you for reading and following along. I’ve enjoyed writing this and hearing your feedback.
Here are a few thoughts and discoveries from the past week...
MIND
“Defy all categories.” I’ve been revisiting this concept from The 50th Law, by Robert Greene (@RobertGreene). When considering a new creative project I tend to compare it to something I’m familiar with; to categorize it. Comparison is usually the joy- and inspiration-killer. This short phrase has been a useful reminder to interrupt that pattern, stay focused on the original idea, and let it take shape naturally.
BODY
If you’re willing to part with some of your hard-earned savings, I highly recommend NuttZo nut butters. I recently crushed a jar of the Power Fuel (Crunchy), which mixes together 7 nuts and seeds. Referral link coming in hot… I discovered this brand on Thrive Market, which has been a good hedge on groceries during these bizarre times. If you use my link, you get an additional 25% off your first order.
THROWBACK
I went full Kondo on my Google Drive folders this past weekend and I felt like I was opening a time capsule. In high school and college I had a clothing brand, Dirty Nasty Apparel (later Dynamic Nature Apparel). I stumbled on this promo video from 2010. If you want to see where my head was at 10 years ago, this pretty much sums it up.
Did any of these catch your interest?
If so, let me know in the comments.
Now go show today who’s boss!
